On one beautiful sunny morning, our team celebrated March’s birthdays (and namedays), while enjoying a wonderful breakfast together. Dear Gabriela, Katarina and Tomas, congratulations and many joyful moments in the coming weeks and months. We are glad that you are part of our team!

We are proud of our colleague Mishel who completed an accredited course, final examination and certification to be the Lecturer of Lifelong Learning. Mishel, congratulations!

Our job is more than work; it is a calling. When we support and help other people, it can be exhausting sometimes. That’s when we need to enjoy the time together outside of work doing something completely different. This teambuilding confirmed that each of us is unique, which can be evident from our artistic creations.

At the end of January, we enjoyed the team breakfast at Werk Restaurant and celebrated birthdays and name-days of our colleagues, which is our monthly tradition. Dear Emma, Tanicka and Palko, we wish you all the best and many joyful days ahead. We hope that our team can have these special moments outside the office in the months to come.

Bullying, aggression and humiliation is a real problem of many teens. What can provoke aggression in teenagers and how can we prevent it? When and why can conflicts turn into abuse? What signs should parents pay attention to? Answers to these questions and more can be heard in this (Hungarian) podcast with our colleague and psychologist, Emma Kiss Csala, on the internet news portal parameter.sk.

At the beginning of the year the team devotes one day to discussing our team’s strategy, direction and opportunities for the next 6 months. And it is never boring! Part of this day is also our self and team’s learning and development, and this time the topic was feedback and criticism. We realized how important it is to candidly talk about our concerns and dissatisfactions to each other. Although we were scared to receive and give feedback at first, the most interesting realization through the process was that we felt closer to each other and stronger as a team.

Wishing you a beautiful Christmas and inspiration for the new year!

As with every year, the Human Dynamic team was contemplating about how and whom it will help this Christmas. In addition to our regular support of children in Africa with their education and housing throughout the year, we looked for other ways to help. After all, it is our mission. In previous years, we supported a larger project; however, this year the team decided to participate in a number of smaller projects that colleagues brought to the team. This way, Human Dynamic was able to support more people and the team had the opportunity to bring their helping hands and their hearts to those who needed it.

Whether handmade or bought, but especially hand-signed, our Christmas greetings will bring a smile and good cheer to grandmothers and grandfathers at a retirement home. After all, Christmas used to start with a greeting received from loved ones. Our team decided to participate in a beautiful initiative of Pohodovo non-profit organization, with each team member adopting one senior to share encouragement and love through the unique greeting. We will share our creations in our next post.

The 3^rd part of our series Revealed will be slightly different. It will give you a glimpse of how difficult it was for our boss Miriam to reveal her vulnerability in front of her team. You may find encouragement and inspiration in her learning process as a leader (in slovak only).

While some people think that preparing the team’s strategy is something boring that the leaders do in their spare time to get away from work, we look forward to these days a few times a year when we come together as a team to discuss our focus, direction and opportunities for the next 6 months. This time, we focused on our personal values, which brought another aspect of vulnerability and transparency to our team. We realized that although each of us is different, we bring that valuable part of ourselves to the team, which makes it unique, special and amazing.
