Emma has been providing psychological counseling to children, adolescents and adults for many years. She likes to work with topics related to parenting, relationships and difficult, emotionally charged life situations. She gained her experience in the field of psychological counseling and children’s diagnostics at various counseling centers. She also counsels people who are suffering from traumatic life events, anxiety and feelings of helplessness.
Emma is finishing her long-term psychotherapeutic training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She specializes in working with anxiety, fear and phobias, when people can become victims of their own thoughts and feelings. She is a certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) psychotherapist, who works with processing traumatic events, difficult life situations or early childhood wounds. In counseling with family and children, Emma uses her further related trainings, such as Play Therapy, Sandplay Therapy and Family Therapy Training linked to EMDR. Emma consults in Slovak, Hungarian and English.
