Emma provides psychological counseling to children, adolescents and adults since 2016. She enjoys counseling topics of parenting, relationships, and emotionally challenging life situations, and specializes in topics of traumatic life events, anxiety, fear, phobias and feelings of helplessness – situations, in which people can become victims of their own thoughts and emotions.

Emma is a certified, evidence-based cognitive behavioral psychotherapist with completed long-term psychotherapeutic training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is also a certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) psychotherapist, working with clients to process traumatic events, difficult life situations, or early childhood wounds. She also completed a Schema Therapy training program; a therapeutic approach focused on identifying and transforming deeply rooted emotional patterns and early maladaptive schemas. In counseling with families and children, Emma applies her additional specialized training, including Play Therapy, Sandplay Therapy, and Family Therapy related to EMDR principles.

Emma gained her experience in the field of psychological counseling and children’s diagnostics at various counseling centers, children centers, as well as at Human Dynamic, where she worked as one of the in-house EAP counselors for corporate clients as well as a crisis responder. She consults in Slovak, Hungarian and English.
