Kateřina received her Master’s Degree in Social Pedagogy at Masaryk University in Brno. In 2021, she completed the comprehensive long-term psychotherapy training in Integrated Gestalt Therapy at the INSTEP institute. During her training, she gained experience with clients with mental illness, both in group and individual psychotherapy, where she worked with clients with personality disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, schizophrenia, and other mental disorders. She has experience from a Low Threshold Facility for Children and Youth, where she worked with children, teenagers and young adults who found themselves in socially unfavorable situations or needed help in some areas of their lives. Throughout her professional life, Kateřina has been continuously developing in various areas, such as Working with Trauma, Family Gestalt Therapy, Group Psychotherapy, Neuroscience in Therapy, Mindfulness in Relationships, Play Therapy for Children and Adolescents, Crisis Intervention, and others. Kateřina has been working in her private counseling practice since 2022. Her therapy room is open to everyone who wants to confide in someone safely and without judgment, or to those who want to work on their personal growth. Her clients are teenagers aged 14 and older and adults who need help, support, understanding in everyday life or in difficult life situations. Counseling is based on mutual trust and a therapeutic relationship. She consults in the Czech language.
